The Kempton Park Chase
Gallop from the starting gates in the inaugural Kempton Park Chase. Three race distances to choose from, staged entirely within the beautiful traffic-free grounds of the Surrey racecourse.
5 Kilometers – A perfect introduction to chip timed racing.
10 Kilometers – For those looking for a new challenge, or perhaps seasoned athletes who want to test their speed over this popular distance.
21.1 Kilometers – The main event. Whether it’s your 1st or 100th half marathon, you’ll have a true race on your hands at Kempton Park this summer.
The race will be held ENTIRELY on the service roads and footpaths which sweep through Kempton Park Race Course. We promise, there are no soft surfaces, hurdles, or jockeys required!
The roads get to about 4m wide at their narrowest. The bends are mostly fast and sweeping, which means your potential to achieve a personal best at this venue is very high.
Kempton Park is one of 35 race courses in the UK which host flat races, which are otherwise referred to as being ‘on the level’.
Excellent Transport Links
The car park is plenty big enough for hundreds upon hundreds of runners, however to avoid congestion, we advise making use of the fantastic transport link at the venue. Just 50m from the entrance is Kempton Park Station, just 45 minutes away from London Waterloo.
